Haslemere Charter Fair

The Charter Fair takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May in Haslemere High Street.

HBAC have a stand to promote the club and our three events- The Bumpy, the Gibbet Hill 10k, and the Punch Bowl Challenges.

Do come along and let the world know what a wonderful club we are.

I could do with help assembling the stand at 12 noon and breaking it down at 5pm. Please contact me if you can help. Many thanks. Bob

Spectating London Marathon –

South West trains are not running trains from Haslemere - replacement bus service to Guilford. The options are; meet at Haslemere station and drive to Guildford or catch the bus at 8.25 and get the train from Guildford arriving London 9.48. Note  from 3pm all trains going back go straight through from Waterloo to Guildford.

I'd say get the bus so meet at 8.15am and buy a group ticket.

We will then run/jog to our position just after the half way point on The Highway and then cross to the 21/22 mile point. Loo point en route. If anyone wants to join us but not jog. the nearest station  to aim for is Shad on the docklands light railway.

Its a great day out and a wonderful way of supporting all the HBAC runners

Cross country – winners all the way

Many congratulations to Andy, Jules all the runners marshals helpers and supporters for a tremendous event.

Some-one I hope, will get a report and photos into the Herald about our 1st place today.

Something like this makes me very proud to be part of HBAC
