Well done to everyone running the XC today! The GP results are now updated...... Clair has extended her lead on the ladies table...can she be caught?? On the men's table Harry has taken over the number 1 spot.....getting very exciting to watch guys so keep on running!
Well done to all those who raced today! The result table is now updated so please let me know if you see issues.
Have you ever thought about running a marathon? Too far ... well how about running as part of a team? A few club members ran the South Downs Marathon this year and we even had a all male team enter! In an effort to be organised we are looking for recruits, of all running abilities, who would be interested in running approximately 6/7 hilly miles. It is just over a year away so you have plenty of time to train. If you are interested please can you let either Jules of Phil know and we will co-ordinate the team entries for next year. We look forward to hearing from you...come on be brave!
Well done to everyone who took part in this years GP! There have been a lot of PB's achieved this year, which has been amazing for those individuals and the club as a whole.
The GP itself set a new record with the number of participants, 48 men and 55 women targeting the predefined races.
Donna has maintained the ladies GP title by a 4 point lead (259) over Alex (255), and closely followed by Lisa (235). Well done ladies!!!
Andy has achieved a massive GP record, which I think will be hard to beat in future years. He won the men's GP by 133 points lead obtaining a massive 345 point over 17 races!! Second place went to Tom (212) and third place went to Lawrence (199). Well done men!!!
40 people have qualify for the GP mug this year, having run 6 or more of the listed races! Once the mugs are ready, we will post the prize giving night date on the web site.
But please check the results because if you helped out at the HBAC XC event you are due one event point. I have already added these event points to the individuals I believe helped out, but I may have missed you by accident. 😉
If you have run marathon since the GP started you need to ensure that I have your results and whether it was a PB. You have until Friday 29th April to do this as the GP will finish with the marathon results be added. Thank you Jules
