Update from the Get Up and Run Group.

In January we started our get up and run group which is designed for people who haven't run before or who have been out of the game for a while.

Our runners grew to 18 in the first few weeks and we braved freezing conditions, sleet snow and horizontal rain, but that didn't stop our hardy bunch turning up and getting the job done. The temperatures climbed, so did we, conquering the Big B at the Punchbowl ! and increasing the time on our feet each week.

We are now running for 30 minutes and well on target for the 4th April when we will complete the course at Alice Holt park run. If anyone would like to join us supporting from the side, or accompanying us around, we would love to see you there.
