Cross Country
Haslemere Border AC compete in the Southern Cross Country League.
The League, previously known as the Hampshire Division of the Todays Runner Winter League, has 24 running clubs who compete in 6-7 multi-terrain events of around 5 miles in distance, held between October and March. There are some 300 runners at each race and a team consists of 4 men and 4 women.
The emphasis of the league is to provide the ordinary club member with the opportunity to participate in a series of multi-terrain events. The atmosphere is to be enjoyable and social without the outright ‘cut and thrust’ associated with specialist cross-country leagues as such some of our very fastest runners will find they are ineligible under the league rules.

Race Dates 2024
All races start at 11am. The current year schedule is below, all runners need to wear a club vest to compete. Entry is free to all HBAC members who are signed up as a competing member.
If any non competing members wish to upgrade their membership to competing and be able to take part, please send an email to Karen at membership@hbac.co.uk for further details.

Please note that parking is always limited so car share if possible, some of us usually meet up at Woolmer Hill and then head off together so look out on the facebook page
